Family Does Matter - Two Lives Emerged

assad dan ayuThe year is 2008 and it means I shared my life with my love one for almost 4 years. Quite new to many but long enough for those who are unlucky. We met each other in 1998 whilst we were classmates at University Technology MARA Shah Alam. I believe most of our batch know us well, in fact, very well since our relationship lasted to the day of our graduation. Yup.. 6 years of non-marriage is long...way too long. In general, we have been knowing each other for a decade. Is that still new to you? Oh, don't compare me with your parents or your grandfather. It doesn't make sense at all.

I am living the third decades of my life. Still young and energetic. My wife is 3 years younger. Thus, she's in another league. Nonetheless, since our field is similar, it wasn't too hard for us to understand the nature of our job--Quantity Surveyor aka Contract Executive (and of course seniority goes to me). Well, at least it contributes in preserving our relationship until now.

I am Kelantanese while my wife is Johorian. And what does it mean? Well, one thing for sure. Our hometown is 500km separated. That's a hell long of journey (and consume gallons of fuel too...). Am I mad or what? Well, I don't think I am. I've been observing peoples lately and to my surprise, lots of them prefer a marriage that way. Hey, there are various kind of transports available nowadays. What's the issue? I remembered when I was a bachelor. My mom wish that I look for local woman since it will be easy for us to 'balik kampung' during Hari Raya Aidilfitri (a Muslim festival). Hehe..Sorry mom. My 'jodoh' located in Johor. How funny our life is.

So, enough of the ramblings. What story should this page tells you? Erm.. I'm not quite sure. In fact, I just love the edited photo and wish to publish it. Eventually, I wish to talk about my new born daughter but I'm in search of method to present the picture. Maybe using lightbox script? Or thickbox maybe? Or using css totally? I'm not sure.. For the time being, I'm experimenting the outcome. Quite hard to say the least. To be honest, I'm in favor of lightbox but I faced several issue related to lightbox--and the main culprit is sIFR. I'll describe this later in A Journey into the Web.

Perhaps I can come out with something for this page. Since we have big family, our friends might want to know us better. Hey, I have 17 siblings while my wife has 6. Should I split this section? I believe, I suppose to--and supersede the original index file. Argh, and that means, more works!

A brief explanation on this section:

1) Originally, this section is all about my wife and kid (...or 'kids' in the near future). There is a section when I will dedicate it to my wife. I know there's something she finds worthy and wish to share with her friends. I don't know whether there will be any photo gallery in her section. I'll let her to decide. However, there will be a gallery for my daughter, and that's for sure.

2) Image galleries of my family members--one person per section. Hey, everybody has their friends and stories. So why don't I dedicate them each? Some of my family members are not efficient in English so it's up to them to rant in whatever language they're comfortable with--or their friends.

3) Our trips. Well, I'm not an active traveler. I used to stay more at home but there are times when I bring my family for vacation, it worth to be published. Not that the place is special, but I find it strengthen my family. Who knows, one day I will become a backpacker?

I will fill this page up with more contents as the website fills in a bit. Thank you for dropping by...

Me & My Family
Oh my...I'm deeply sorry for not allowing anyone to browse this section. I'm still in the midst of compiling the content plus some of my family is out of reach. However, I'll get it published as soon as possible. I'll notice you soon.

My Wife & Family
Well, more issues to let you down. Some of our relative still to decide which picture suit them best. Ah, another bottleneck here I think. But not to worry, I'll get it done later.

Our Daughter - Aisya
AisyaThis is where I rant anything about my beloved daughter, particularly on her growth and improvements. I used to direct my friends here should they wish to know my daughter. What can I say, she's my gem! This section is constantly updated. Visit her often will you? (take a look...)

Our Vacation Trips
So far, I have not compiled anything on my vacations/trips. For the time being, I've been busy with other stuffs and making this site works seemlessly. I'll put a notice on the main page shall it's ready.
